I’ve been encouraged to try new and modern options for “stuff” outside my regular and classic dev efforts. A lot of this focuses on GenAI. I don’t know that this is entirely productive.
Obsidian and Quartz have come up as an interesting suggestions, and Claude has been somewhat helpful on this front.
I guess we’ll see if the usual stuff I type into VSCode (in the style of a Notepad replacement) or draft blog posts are more suitable here. I think I need to get rid of WordPress but there are definitely some conveniences with its editor.
For posterity, I ended up adding Editing Toolbar as a plugin, which seems a little bit ridiculous to need something third-party for, but there we go.
